FOUR people including a ONE year old boy have died following a collision in the Darnall area of Sheffield last night.

Detectives are appealing for information following a firearms incident at an address on Novello Street in Maltby in the early hours of this morning (1st November)
Police were called at 2.55am to reports that a shotgun had been fired at the windows of the house.
A South Yorkshire Police spokesperson added “Thankfully, nobody was injured and it is believed that this was a targeted attack.

A Police investigation has been launched after a Taxi collided with a member of the public this at 5:30am morning (27th October).
A Seat Alhambra was in collision with a 17 year old male at the turning with Main Street.
A Police spokesperson said that “He currently remains in a serious condition in hospital.”
A 41 year old man has been interviewed by police.

Police were called to a burglary in progress at McColls, on Rotherham Road in Great Houghton, at around 11.20pm on Saturday (20th October)
Officers spotted the suspects making an escape in a silver BMW 1 Series and further officers were soon called to the area.
The getaway car was soon spotted heading along the B6089 Stubbin Road heading towards Rawmarsh.
Police engaged in a pursuit where the occupants began to start throwing bricks, bottles and a claw hammer pursuit vehicle.
The BMW was soon abandoned on Clay Pit Lane, Rawmarsh, where the four offenders escaped the efforts of a police dog helicopter crew.
The BMW was found to containing an amount of tobacco and alcohol was later recovered for forensic examination.

Due to a collision on the M1 southbound the Motorway has been closed between junctions 33 and 34. One lane has been closed northbound.
Emergency services are currently at the scene at the scene and tailbacks areย building up in to Rotherham and surrounding areas.
There is currently no estimated time when it will reopen queues everywhere
ARMED Police were called to a convenience store in Catcliffe yesterday evening (18th October)
Police were were called to TC’s Minimart on Brinsworth Road, Catcliffe at 6:15pm following reports that a man had entered the store brandishing a knife and forcing the shop assistant behind the counter before making demands for cash and cigarettes.
The shop owner then entered the store and tried to detain the offender, who is said to have picked up a bottle and hit the owner with it, causing a cut to his head.
The shop was targetted twice in 24 hours with the first incident taking place onย Tuesday at 3.45pm where a man threatened staff with a broken glass bottle and made off with cash and cigarettes.
A South Yorkshire Police spokesperson confirmed that “32-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of robbery and remains in custody at this time.”
“He is also arrested in connection to an incident at the same location on Tuesday 16 October, in which cash and cigarettes were stolen.”

Police respond to reports of vehicle heading wrong way on M1 between Rotherham and Meadowhall
POLICE this evening responded to reports of a vehicle traveling the wrong way on the M1 between J35 Thorpe Hesley and J34 at Meadowhall.
A Temporary 20 MPH Speed Limit was put in place whilst Police lead a search for the Vehicle.
Highways England have since updated and said that “‘@SYPOperations have made an extensive search. No vehicle was found. We need such low speeds as a precaution. We need to take every measure possible to protect people in the correct direction. Thanks for your patience during rolling road block”
ARMED Police and a Police Helicopter were called to an Armed Robbery at South Anston Post office yesterday evening (14th October).
Police were called around 4.25pm after two suspects entered the premises before demanding money with what is believed to be a handgun.
The suspects then made off with a small amount of cash.
A 32-year-old man was detained at the scene and has been arrested on suspicion of robbery and remains in police custody.
Police are still searching for the second suspect and a third individual who was waiting in a vehicle outside the store.
