South Yorkshire Police Operational Support
A lorry blocked the entry sliproad to the M1 southbound at junction 35 in Thorpe Hesley this morning.
A spokesperson from South Yorkshire Police’s Operational Support Unit said:
“There are no reported injuries, however recovery efforts are likely to take some time.”
“We are asking motorists to avoid the area whilst we carry out this recovery and will update when access to the M1 is restored.”
A partial closure of the roundabout was later put in place to allow recovery to commence.
