Police are appealing for witnesses after a man (49) was assaulted in the town centre on Friday.
At around 11.30pm on Friday 23 November, it was reported that a 49-year-old man was assaulted on Corporation Street following an altercation with two unknown men and an unknown woman.
The 49-year-old suffered suspected slash injuries to his face, which required hospital treatment. It is not known at this time what weapon was used.
The suspects are then believed to have walked away towards Westgate.
