Firefighters were called to Parkgate on Sunday after a faulty light fitting activated alarms
Crews from Dearne, Maltby and Rotherham were called at 8.20pm on Sunday, 16 October after a fire alarm was activated at a commercial property on Stadium Way.
A spokesperson for the Fire Service said “It turned out to be a false alarm caused by a faulty light fitting.”
“No firefighting action was required other than isolating the electricity supply.”
