Two men have died after a the car they were travelling left the road and crashed into the River Don near to Meadowhall.
South Yorkshire Police were called at 7:10pm on Saturday 30th January to reports of a car entering the river off Meadowhall Way.
“Two men aged 20 and 24 were taken to Northern General Hospital, where they were sadly pronounced dead.”
“Family members have been informed and are being supported by specially trained police officers.”
“Meadowhall Way remains closed today while enquiries continue.”
