Priceless artefacts stolen in Clifton Park Museum raid

by Admin

A number of “priceless” historical artefacts have been stolen from Clifton Park Museum in an overnight raid

It’s believed the robbery took place overnight between Thursday 13 April and Friday 14 April, when forced entry was used to the museum building on Clifton Lane, causing damage.

Items of ornate golden jewellery from an exhibit of Indian artefacts (pictured) were taken during the incident, which are extremely rare and of historical significance.

Police want to hear from anyone who may have seen these items or has information about where they might be.

You can contact police using live chat, online portal or by calling 101 quoting incident number 165 of 14 April 2023. Alternatively by contacting the independent charity Crimestoppers on freephone 0800 555 111.
