Below is a list of all the latest updates in relation to the weather warning for rain across Rotherham and the surrounding areas.
Due to flooding, the following roads are currently closed:
- Bawtry Road, Brinsworth
- Main Street, Brookhouse
- Poplar Way, Catcliffe
- Kilnhurst Road/Glasshouse Road, Kilnhurst
- Long Lane, Treeton
Treeton Lane, Aughton, is currently open but please take care when using this route.
FLOOD WARNINGS
There are currently 8 flood warnings in place across Rotherham. These include:
- River Don at Kilnhurst
- River Don at Kilnhurst – Beighton Road, Springfield Road and Wharf Road
- River Don at Swinton Bridge and Mexborough
- River Rother at Catcliffe
- River Rother at Treeton
- Whiston Brook at Whiston
