A woman was taken to hospital with a neck injury after a firework was thrown towards traffic on Dale Road
Police said they were called to Dale Road at Rawmarsh shortly after 7.41pm on Tuesday (31 October) following reports of a road traffic collision.
One woman was taken to hospital with a neck injury and the road was closed for short period of time.

The South Yorkshire Police spokesperson said โEnquiries are ongoing to establish the circumstances behind the incident.โ

Chief Inspector Lee Carlson said: “When you are out and about watching the fireworks, we please ask that you are aware of your surroundings, especially where you children might be playing.
“We know fireworks displays are attractive, but they can also be dangerous when not handled correctly.
โThere are a small majority of people that are intent on causing trouble. It is illegal to let off fireworks in a public place and could seriously hard innocent people that could be passing by.โ
