It’s believed police were called to a block of flats at around 8pm this evening (Wednesday 10th July)
At around 8:30am police received reports of a collision between a driven grass mower and a motorcyclist on Woodall Lane, Harthill.ย
The 45-year-old motorcyclist suffered serious injuries during the collision and was airlifted to hospital where he is currently receiving treatment, a police spokesperson said.
Police are asking for anyone who witnessed the collision to come forward with any information which may help officers in their investigation.

A silver Ford Mondeo was travelling along the A6109 Meadow Bank Road just before 1.30am on Sunday (30th June) when it collided with wooden posts outside the Jet Petrol Station near, a police spokesperson said.
Police said that “Members of the public assisted a 19-year-old man and a 24-year-old man in the car at the scene as the emergency services were called”
The vehicle was travelling towards Rotherham, away from the M1 at the time of the collision.
“At this time, it is unclear who was driving the car.”
The 24-year-old man was pronounced dead at the scene of the collision.

The 19-year-old man was also taken to hospital to be treated for minor injuries and was arrested on suspicion of causing death by dangerous driving and driving whilst unfit through drink or drugs.
Police are keen to hear from the drivers of a black Seat Leon and a dark-coloured, possibly black, Seat Altea which were both in the Jet service station at the time.ย
The Altea is said to have left the forecourt, heading towards the scene of the collision.
Anyone who witnessed the collision or had dashcam footage of the incident should call 101 quoting incident number 100 of June 30.

The road remains closed between Pembroke Street and Pitt Street whilst an investigation takes place.
Police said the boy, aged 12 was involved in a collision with a black Citroen C1 on Wortley Road, Kimberworth, just before 8.05am this morning (20th June)
The Yorkshire Air Ambulance was called to the scene.
A spokesperson for South Yorkshire Police said: โThe boy has been taken to hospital. His injuries do not appear to be life-threatening.โ
Wortley Road remains closed at the junction with Bradgate Lane to allow a collision investigation to take place.
Police and paramedics were called to The Plough on Effingham Street at around 5.20pmย on Monday (17th June) where a 31-year-old man was found with a wound to his head a police spokesperson said.ย
a 20 year old male was arrested at the scene on suspicion of assault and he remains in custody this morning.
The victim was taken to hospital for treatment andย later discharged with minor injuries.
A spokesperson for South Yorkshire Police said โEnquiries are ongoing to establish the exact circumstances surrounding the incident and how the injuries were caused.โ

At around 3.15pm on Saturday (15 June) police were pursuing a blue Volkswagen from Rotherham town centre after it failed to stop for officers.
A short while later the vehicle was involved a collision with two other cars, a blue Audi A3 and a Vauxhall Corsa.
A spokeswoman for South Yorkshire Police said “the driver of the golf fled the scene, enquiries are ongoing to identify them.”
A 35-year-old man, 19-year-old woman, a 56-year-old woman and a two-year-old girl were taken to hospital as a precaution, the spokesperson added.
There are not believed to be any serious injuries.
Fire crews from Rotherham, Dearne and Elm Lane stations were called to the blaze in a ground floor flat on Rawmarsh Hill, Parkgate, at around 5.45am this morning (Sunday June 16).
The woman was taken to hospital for treatment with injuries not thought to be life-threatening.
Emergency Services evacuated the surrounding flats whilst the fire was being tackled, a spokesperson for South Yorkshire Fire and Rescue confirmed.
Rawmarsh Hill was closed by emergency services but has recently reopened, firefighters and police remain on the scene this morning.
The spokesperson for SYFR said that a full investigation into the cause of the fire is due to get underway today.
Munsbrough Lane is currently closed at the junction with Barbot Hill Road.
The Volkswagen is believed to have collided in to a nearby wall.
It’s not yet known if anyone was injured.
Officers were involved in the pursuit of vehicle suspected to be carrying stolen goods
A spokesperson for South Yorkshire Police said “the driver failed to stop upon request and the vehicle was later found abandoned nearby in the Tinsley area.
“One man was arrested on suspicion of robbery.”
Northamptonshire Police said that the incident was related to an incident on June 7th where a lorry driver was threatened at knifepoint and had his load stolen at a cafรฉ.
