Police called to ‘intruder’ false alarm at Town Centre bank

Police were called to reports of an intruder at Barclays Bank in Rotherham town centre bank this morning (6th September)

Police were called to the town centre bank at on Bridgegate at 9.10am after staff reported that the alarm was indicating it had been activated by an intruder.

A police spokeswoman said “officers attended the bank, searched the building but nobody was there, it was a false activation”
