Police are investigating an attempted robbery at a laundrette in Maltby, where an 84-year-old man was confronted by a masked man demanding money
Police were called at 7.35am on Tuesday (7 January) to reports of an attempted robbery at a launderette on High Street in Rotherham.
It is reported that a man wearing a face covering approached an 84-year-old man demanding money.
The victim refused and the suspect left the premises empty-handed.
South Yorkshire Police spokesperson said enquiries are ongoing.
