Police are appealing for witnesses following a collision between a car and 40-year-old pedestrian in Herringthorpe
Police were called to Herringthorpe Valley Road, close to the junction with Far Lane, at 4.30pm on Saturday (7 December).
It is reported a grey VW Tiguan was in collision with a pedestrian.
A 40-year-old man was taken to hospital where he currently remains. His condition is being described as life-threatening.
The driver of the car involved stopped at the scene and is assisting with enquiries.
Police are now appealing for anyone who saw what happened and has information or dashcam footage which could help our enquiries to get in touch.
