Emergency Services have deployed to the River Rother at Canklow Bridge after reports of someone entering the water
Agencies were called to the River Rother at Canklow Bridge after reports of someone potentially entering the water this morning (Thursday 9th March)
A spokesperson from South Yorkshire Fire and Rescue said โWe mobilised four appliances, including specially trained water rescue crews, and have been on scene this morning with police and ambulance colleagues.โ
โOne person is now being taken care of by paramedics.โ
Itโs not believed anyone is injured.
The strip of road was closed for a short duration but has since reopened.
