Police were called to Corporation Street at 6am this morning (1st April) after a suspect used bricks to smash the front windows of the Wilko stealing chocolate, batteries and razor blades.
A South Yorkshire Police spokesperson said โIt is believed the offender gained entry by smashing a window and exited through the fire exit at the back of the store.โ
โThe suspect has taken chocolate, batteries and razor blades to the value of nearly ยฃ600.โ
Enquiries are ongoing and anybody with information is asked to call 101 quoting incident 401 of 1 April 2019.
