Man (24) suffers life-threatening injuries following Brinsworth collision

A MAN (24) has suffered life-threatening injuries following a collision in Brinsworth this morning. (Saturday 21st July)
Around 12.45am it was reported that a black Landrover Freelander travelling along Bawtry Road, towards the junction with Centenary Way left the road and collided with a tree.
South Yorkshire Police spokesperson have said :
“A passenger in the car, a 24-year-old man was taken to hospital suffering life-threatening injuries and remains in a critical condition.”
“A 27-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of dangerous driving causing serious injury and has been released under investigation.”
Police carried out a collision investigation and the road re-opened at 9:15am.
Police investigating the collision are appealing for any witnesses to the incident. If you have any information, please call 101 quoting incident number 48 of 21 July 2018.
