Police in Parkgate this afternoon discovered a different way of applying the handbrake..
The Bulgarian people carrier had a shoelace fitted where the handbrake should be.
The vehicle was seized under DVLA powers at Parkgate Retail World this afternoon by South Yorkshire Police’s Operational Support Team.
The team tweeted photos of the find and described it saying “probably seen better days”.
