Rotherham Central NHP have raised awareness following an increase of reports relating to members of the public being contacted by alleged ‘police officers’
The false officers have proceeded to ask for money.
Please be aware, the police would never ask you for any amount of money for any reason
There have been a number of related incidents in Rotherham which are currently under investigation.
Police are asking for your help in sharing this message to friends and loved ones, especially those who are elderly.
