Police called to Lidl Store after man makes threats armed with knife

Police were called to Lidl at Masborough after reports of a man armed with a knife making threats inside the store

Police attened Lidl on Masbrough Street where it was reported that a man was threatening a victim with a bladed article.

Police said Both the man and the victim ran from the store shortly after.

Police said “Officers attended and conducted an area search and CCTV enquiries.”

“Enquiries remain ongoing and anyone with information is asked to call 101 and quote incident number 599 of 13 May 2024.”
