A driver and teenage passenger were taken to hospital after the vehicle they were travelling left the carriage way and crashed into trees on Centenary Way
Police were called at 9.45pm on Saturday (4 November) to reports that a black Land Rover had left the carriageway and crashed into undergrowth on the side of the carriageway.
South Yorkshire Police said โThe man driving the car suffered multiple injuries and fractures to the spine. A teenage boy, who was a passenger in the car, also suffered fracture injuries.โ
โBoth were taken to hospital, their injuries are not thought to be life threatening.โ
Centenary Way was closed overnight and was reopened on Sunday (5 November) with enquiries are ongoing.
