The family of a man who sadly died following a suspected murder in Kimberworth Park has named him as 52-year-old Paul Sharp
Paul was found with serious injuries after police were called to a property on Redscope Crescent at 7.40am on Wednesday (25 October) morning. He was sadly pronounced dead at the scene.
A post mortem examination has since revealed he died as a result of being stabbed.
Yesterday (Friday 27 October) Paul was been formally identified and his family continues to be supported by officers.
Paulโs family has released a photo of him and shared this statement: โPaulโs death has brought deep sadness and is even more shocking due to the tragic circumstances.
โAs a family, we kindly ask that our privacy is respected at this difficult time, and we hope that justice is secured for him.โ
Two men and a woman, aged 46, 43 and 42, who were arrested on suspicion of murder have been bailed as enquiries continue. A 43-year-old woman was also arrested on suspicion of assisting an offender but has since been bailed pending further enquiries.
