Police have charged a 29-year-old man with attempted rape and sexual assault on a woman as she walked through a Town Centre subway
Sarkhel Gharib, 29, of Spring Walk, Rotherham, has been charged with attempted rape and sexual assault.
It was reported that at around 11.30pm on Friday (8 September)a woman was sexually assaulted by a man as she walked through the subway on College Road.
Gharib appeared before Sheffield Magistratesโ Court on Monday (11 September) and has been remanded in custody. He will appear at Sheffield Crown Court on Monday 9 October.
