Police officers searching for missing Rotherham man Abdul have found a body earlier today (Tuesday 14 March)
While formal identification is yet to take place, the family have been informed and continue to be supported by officers at this time.
The 25-year-old man, named only as Abdul, was last seen in Eastwood over a month ago โ on Sunday, February 12.
That evening, Abdul was captured on CCTVย at 6.33pm, crossing Eldon Road and entering Eastwood Park. He was wearing all black clothing.
Itโs possible he left the park by walking along the canal tow path in the direction of the train station or Rotherham town centre.
Earlier today specialist police officers were seen searching the river besides Rotherham Train Station
