Firefighters from Dearne were called to Don View Road, Mexborough, at 1.32pm on Saturday to reports of a fire at a house
Upon of the fire crews they discovered a chimney fire, crews dealt with the fire from above using a roof ladder.
The fire was out by 3.34pm
SYFR advised the occupiers not to use the fire again until theyโd had the chimney swept.
