Residents across Rotherham are being reminded to put their bins out earlier than usual this week as high temperatures prompt temporary changes to waste collection times.
Rotherham Council has confirmed that bin collections on Wednesday 8 July, Thursday 9 July and Friday 10 July will begin one hour earlier than normal to help protect refuse crews working in the hot weather.
Householders are being asked to ensure their bins are placed at the kerbside by 6am on collection day to avoid missing their scheduled collection.

The temporary change has been introduced to allow crews to complete more of their work during the cooler part of the day as warm conditions continue across the region.
