Police are appealing for witnesses and dashcam footage after an elderly pedestrian died following a collision in Thrybergh on Saturday
Emergency services were called to the A630 Doncaster Road in Thrybergh, near the junction with Poplar Avenue, at around 1.35pm on Saturday, 13 June.
The collision involved a white Kia ProCeed and an 83-year-old pedestrian.
The man was taken to hospital but later died from his injuries. His family has been informed and is receiving support from specially trained officers.
A 25-year-old woman, who was driving the Kia, was arrested at the scene. She has since been released on police bail while assisting officers with their investigation.
South Yorkshire Police would like to hear from anyone who witnessed the collision and has not yet spoken to officers.
Investigators are also asking anyone with dashcam footage showing the collision, or the white Kia before it happened, to come forward.
