Officers investigating an assault in Wickersley are appealing for information and potential witnesses to come forward
On Saturday 25 April, at 8.20pm, police received reports that a man had been assaulted at the Wickersley Cricket Club on Northfield Lane.
It is reported he was punched by an unknown person and suffered injuries to his face and head.

Since the incident was reported to us officers have been conducting a range of enquiries, including CCTV checks and gathering witness statements, and are now appealing for anyone who might have information to come forward.
