A new balloon festival is set to take place at Wentworth Woodhouse this summer, with organisers promising a day of entertainment for families and visitors
Scheduled for Saturday 6 June 2026, the event will run from midday into the evening and is expected to attract thousands of people to the historic estate.
Plans include hot air balloon displays, live entertainment, food and drink stalls, local traders, a funfair and a fireworks finale.

Organisers say the event aims to bring a large-scale outdoor festival to the venue, which has increasingly hosted public events in recent years.
If conditions allow, the balloons will provide the main attraction, with visitors able to watch them lift off from the grounds.
