Police are appealing for witnesses and footage after 63-year-old man died following a road traffic collision in Rotherham
At around 9.45pm on Saturday 31 January, emergency services were called to reports of a collision involving a black Volkswagen Golf and a pedestrian on Drummond Street, Rotherham.
The pedestrian, a 63-year-old man, was taken to hospital with serious injuries. Despite the best efforts of medical staff, he sadly died on Tuesday 10 February.
Officers are now urging anyone who witnessed the collision and has not yet spoken to police to come forward. They are also keen to hear from drivers or residents who may have relevant CCTV, doorbell, or dashcam footage from the area at the time of the incident.
A spokesperson said: โOur thoughts are with the manโs family at this incredibly difficult time. We are carrying out enquiries to establish the full circumstances surrounding the collision and would ask anyone who can assist to get in touch.โ
