Police are appealing for information after a woman was sexually assaulted by two-men wearing balaclavas in Flanderwell
The incident occurred at around 11pm when a woman was attacked in an alleyway off Greenfield Gardens.
Police said, two men wearing balaclavas grabbed the victim before subjecting her to a sexual assault. The brave woman managed to escape her attackers and immediately reported the incident to authorities.
The suspects are described as: one man is approximately 6ft tall, of medium build, and was wearing grey trousers; the second man is approximately 5ft 6ins tall, of skinny build, and was wearing black clothing. Both attackers had their faces covered during the assault.
Officers are continuing their enquiries and are particularly keen to hear from anyone who was in the Greenfield Gardens area around the time of the incident or who may have seen two men acting suspiciously before or after the attack.
