Police are appealing for witnesses and dashcam footage following a serious road traffic collision in Rotherham that left a 58-year-old man with life-altering injuries
Officers were called to reports of a collision on Treeton Lane at 11.17am on Monday, 26 January. The incident involved a pedestrian and a green Iveco Daily van.
It is understood that the pedestrian was struck by the Iveco Daily, which initially left the scene following the collision. The injured man was taken to hospital, where his injuries are believed to be life-altering.
The driver of the Iveco later returned to the scene and is currently assisting officers with their enquiries.
Police are urging anyone who witnessed the collision, or who was travelling along Treeton Lane at the time and may have dashcam footage, to come forward.
