Police are appealing for witnesses after an 80-year-old man suffered serious injuries in a road traffic collision in Dalton
Emergency services were called at around 4.43pm on Thursday, 20 November, to reports of a collision on Doncaster Road, just outside Lidl. The incident involved a pedestrian and a blue Ford Tourneo.
The pedestrian, an 80-year-old man, was taken to hospital with serious injuries.

Police confirmed that the driver of the Ford remained at the scene and cooperated fully with officers.
Officers are now urging anyone who witnessed the collision, or who may have dashcam footage from the area at the time, to come forward.
