
Police are appealing for witnesses after a motorcyclist suffered serious injuries in a collision on Friday night
At around 6.30pm yesterday (10 October), roads policing officers responded to reports of a collision on Fenton Road, Rotherham, involving a black Hyundai IX35 and a grey Suzuki motorcycle.
The rider of the motorcycle, a man in his 40s, was taken to hospital with serious injuries that are believed to be life-altering. He remains in hospital at this time.
The driver of the Hyundai remained at the scene and is assisting officers with their enquiries.
Police are now urging anyone who witnessed the incident or has dashcam footage from the area around the time of the collision to get in touch.
