Police are appealing for information after two dogs were found injured following a fight in a Eastwood park
Officers were called to Eldon Road Playing Fields in Eastwood at around 5.33pm on Saturday (25 October) after reports of dangerous dogs in the area.
On arrival, officers discovered two dogs โ believed to be a Central Asian Kangal and a Cane Corso โ off their leads and suffering injuries.
Both animals were safely contained by police before being taken for emergency veterinary treatment. The dogs have since been placed in police kennels.
No members of the public were injured during the incident.
South Yorkshire Police are now appealing for the owners of the dogs to come forward, and for anyone with information about how the animals came to be loose to contact them.
