Plans have been submitted for a new dental practice to open at Parkgate Shopping
My Dentist (GB) Limited has applied to Rotherham Council for permission to install signage at unit 10c, which is currently vacant.
The unit sits within a row of retail premises and was previously occupied by Superdrug before moving elsewhere within the retail park.
In January, the company secured a Lawful Development Certificate from the local authority, confirming that the proposed use of the site as a dental clinic falls within the existing planning consent.
In only 17 years, mydentist has developed from its genesis of just 3 practices in North West England to now being the largest dental corporate in the world with nearly 550 Practices across the UK.
The company already operates two practices in the borough โ one in Rotherham town centre and another in Brinsworth.
If approved, the new Parkgate site will expand the groupโs presence in the area and bring additional healthcare services to one of Rotherhamโs busiest retail destinations.
