A man has been charged after a police officer in Kimberworth sustained a serious neck injury during an incident involving a knife
Emergency services were called at around 2.30pm on Thursday, 17 July, following reports of threatening behaviour in the Kimberworth Park area of Rotherham.
Officers attended the scene, where it is understood one officer was assaulted with a knife, resulting in wounds to his neck. He received medical treatment for his injuries.

Glynn Leedell, 45, of Binders Road, has been charged with harassment, assault of an emergency worker, and wounding with intent.
Leedell appeared before Sheffield Magistratesโ Court today (Saturday, 19 July) and has been remanded into custody. He is due to appear at Sheffield Crown Court on 18 August.
