A man has been taken to hospital following an incident in Rotherham town centre earlier this morning
Emergency services confirmed that a cyclist, was injured after falling from his bike on Bridge Street
The incident prompted traffic diversions while paramedics from Yorkshire Ambulance Service attended the scene.

A spokesperson for Yorkshire Ambulance Service said: โWe received an emergency call at 6.50am this morning reporting a cyclist who had fallen on Bridge Street in Rotherham.”
“Two ambulances were sent to the scene, and one patient was taken to Rotherham Hospital.โ
Bus operator Stagecoach issued a travel update, stating: โDue to a non-bus-related road traffic collision on Bridge Street, all RawmarshโRotherham services were temporarily diverted via Drummond Street to access Rotherham Interchange.โ
