Emergency services were called to an underground electrical fire in Clifton earrlier this morning
The fire broke out at the junction of Gilberthorpe Street and Victoria Avenue, prompting a response from South Yorkshire Fire & Rescue shortly after 7:10am.
Three fire engines attended the scene, with crews using dry powder to tackle the flames.

Firefighters remained on site while waiting for the electricity supply to be safely isolated by Northern Power.
The incident was fully resolved and crews left the scene at approximately 10am.
