An elderly woman has been left with life-changing injuries following a dog attack in Whiston earlier today
Emergency services were called to Greystones Road at around 11.55am this morning (Wednesday 21 May) after receiving reports of a dog bite incident. It is believed the dog involved is a Pocket Bully.
The victim, a 73-year-old woman, was taken to hospital for treatment. Her injuries are described as life-changing.

South Yorkshire Police confirmed that Dog Legislation Officers were deployed to the scene and successfully secured and seized the dog using a dog pole.
