A man has been arrested following a police pursuit through Rotherham over the weekend
On Saturday 12 April, officers attempted to stop a Volkswagen Coupe being driven dangerously through the town. The driver failed to stop, prompting a pursuit.
The vehicle was driven at high speeds before crashing into a wall in Maltby. The driver then fled the scene on foot.

Response officers acted swiftly, pursuing the suspect on foot and locating him in a nearby garden.
A 44-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of aggravated vehicle taking, dangerous driving, failing to stop, driving without insurance, and driving while under the influence of drugs. He has been bailed pending further enquiries.
