POLICE and bomb disposal experts were called on Monday following the discovery of a suspected unexploded WW2 bomb found at Parkgate
Police were alerted to a reports of a suspected Second World War explosive found near Stonerow Way, Parkgate just before 2pm on Monday (24 March)
The force said a 100m cordon is in place as a precaution while emergency services work together at the scene.

Parkgate tram stop is currently closed due to the incident.
Footpaths within the cordon and access roads to Parkgate retail park are also closed.
Parkgate retail park is still open to the public, although some shops will not have access from the side facing the cordon.
