Police have arrested a 34-year-old man after reports of an assault on Green Arbour Road in Thurcroft earlier today
At 1.55pm on Friday 10 January police received reports of an assault on Green Arbour Road, in Thurcroft, Rotherham.
A 71-year-old man was taken to hospital for treatment where he remains in a stable condition.
A 34-year-old man has been arrested on suspicion of assault and remains in police custody.
A South Yorkshire Police spokesperson said โEnquiries are ongoing.โ
