by Admin

Plans have been approved to enable B&Q to make a return to Rotherham seven-years after closing it’s previous store

Plans submitted by Rotherham Foundry RP Limited were approved on 16 February 2024 for the alterations to Units 2 and 3 to enable the amalgamation of the units on Great Eastern Retail Park

The plans also include the construction of a canopy to the rear, works to the car park, and the creation of an outdoor garden centre.

Unit 2 is currently occupied by Bensons for Beds and Unit 3 is currently vacant, having previously been occupied by Harveys Furniture prior to the company entering administration.

B&Q closed its previous store seven years ago in June 2016 as part of a nationwide restructure
