Plans to build 120 new homes on the site of a former bus depot in have been approved
Plans submitted by developers Prospect Estates show a mix of two to four-bedroom houses and apartments.
Access to the site will be from the existing entrance on Midland Road, with a further two new areas on Union Street.
The former bus depot which employed over 250 members was demolished in June 2023 shortly after Rotherham Council approved an application.
The site, which has suffered break-ins, vandalism and theft previously cost £160,000 a year in rates and security
