Rotherham Firefighter Bronte Jones has secured her place in the final of the BBC show Gladiators
23-year-old Bronte ‘Bam Bam’ Jones, who is based at Rotherham Fire Station on Fitzwilliam Road took part in six challenges on Saturday evening against Bolton competition, Betti.
Challenges included; Powerball, Duel, Gauntlet, The Wall, The Edge
Brontë took the lead by 10 points on The Wall after Dynamite caught up with Betti during the challenge making it 31-21 after 4 events
On the penultimate challenge The Edge taking place 30ft in the air Bronte increased her lead by 16 points taking her to 41-25
With each point of her lead worth half a second, Bronte had an 8-second head start during the final challenge Eliminator
Bronte said “Oh my god, I’m just over the moon, I can’t put into words how I’m feeling right now”
Adding ”I’m so, so happy! Hard work pays off.”
