Demolition work is underway as developers plan to build a modern 24-hour forecourt
The site located off the A630 West Bawtry Road, previously included a forecourt, small shop, car repair services and a bungalow.
Applicants, Canklow Bridge LTD said The Canklow Service Station displays signs of wear, with surfaces showing damage from weather exposure and the inevitable effects of vehicle use and customer traffic over time.
The applicants plan to remove the current pump islands, canopy, shop building, workshop buildings, and bungalow.
In their place, they plan to construct a 24-hour facility featuring a new convenience store offering hot food to go, updated pump islands, a jet wash, air/water bay, and four EV charging points.
Additionally, the site will include 11 parking spaces.
