Police closed the M1 in both directions between J33 and J34 on Thursday after concerns for a male
All lanes of the carriageway were closed by South Yorkshire Police on Thursday night (8 November) at 11.30pm
National Highways said the โpolice-led incident closed both carriageways between J33 Rotherham and J44
They later confirmed, the incident was resolved shortly before 2am.
South Yorkshire Police said โWe were called at 11.23pm on Thursday, November 9 to reports of concern for safety of a man near to junction 34 of the M1 (North).
โOfficers attended and the man was brought to safety and is being provided with the necessary support.โ
