Investigation launched after fire at a Moorgate home

People have been taken to hospital and an investigation launched after a fire at a residential property in Moorgate this morning

South Yorkshire Fire & Rescue said they have launched an investigation into the cause of a fire at a domestic property on Warwick Street in Moorgate.

They have asked for people to “avoid the area” as investigators work throughout the day.

Crews called at around 4.30am this morning (November 25) the fire was extinguished by around 6am, a spokesperson confirmed

The spokesperson added that, people had attended hospitals to be checked out, but there are no serious injuries or concerns.
