M1 closed as emergency services respond to ‘multi-vehicle’ collision

Traffic has been STOPPED on the M1 southbound in between J35 and J34 due to a multi-vehicle collision

which brought traffic on the M1 to a halt in West Yorkshire.

Highways Yorkshire have advised that “All emergency services will be attending the scene.”

An air ambulance was also scrambled but left the area without landing
