Below is a list of all the latest updates in relation to the weather warning for rain across Rotherham and the surrounding areas.
Due to flooding, the following roads are currently closed:
- Bawtry Road, Brinsworth
- Main Street, Brookhouse
- Poplar Way, Catcliffe
- Kilnhurst Road/Glasshouse Road, Kilnhurst
- Long Lane, Treeton
Treeton Lane, Aughton, is currently open but please take care when using this route.
FLOOD WARNINGS
There are currently 8ย flood warnings in place acrossย Rotherham. These include:
- River Don at Kilnhurst
- River Don at Kilnhurst โ Beighton Road, Springfield Road and Wharf Road
- River Don at Swinton Bridge and Mexborough
- River Rother at Catcliffe
- River Rother at Treeton
- Whiston Brook at Whiston
