A man in his 30’s was taken to hospital after colliding with traffic lights and a lamp post on Fenton Road
Emergency services were called at 5.52pm on Tuesday (26 September) following reports of a collision on Fenton Road
On arrival it was discovered that a car had been in collision with a lamppost.
A police spokesperson said “the driver, a man in his 30s, was taken to hospital for treatment. His injuries are not thought to be life threatening.”
“The road was closed for a number of hours, for repairs and vehicle recovery.”
